The BMW X1 is a subcompact luxury crossover SUV produced by BMW since 2009. The first generation model was based on the same platform as the BMW 3 Series Touring, while the second generation is based on the front-wheel-drive UKL2 platform. The X1 is available in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. It includes several advanced features such as a panoramic sunroof, premium interior materials, automated emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and adaptive LED headlights.
